Mechanical Technology Lab

The Mechanical Technology Lab is used by students in ITEC 203, Introduction to Mechanical Technology, to learn the basics of mechanical technology. Approximately half the course work is laboratory based. Six work stations are used by teams of three students who assemble, align, adjust, and acquire data from belt, chain, clutch, gear, and direct coupled systems. On line data acquisition is a new component of this lab that helps students apply fundamental mechanical principles in the modern workplace.
